How we got here…
The beginning of Mmm AF Treats started because of my son Wyatt. We found out he had a long list of severe food allergies at only 9 months old. Since then, I have spent countless hours researching and experimenting with how to give him the same foods everyone else around him was eating. After realizing we would not be eating in a restaurant as a family or ordering take out any time soon, I felt overwhelmed. It dawned on me that every meal will be calculated, and most likely created, by me. There needs to be more options in the Buffalo, NY area for those with severe food allergies like Wyatt. Food allergies are very misunderstood. Cross contamination is real and can cause anaphylaxis. I hope to alleviate some of the burden to my fellow allergy families with my recipes. Right now, I conduct this business out of my home. But my hope is to grow it large enough to be able to open a store front one day soon! Thank you for visiting our page!
